This is the song that introduced me to Hip Hop..... I mean the whole vibe from this song was amazing.... the realest shyt i eva heard.. True Story! This came out a couple months after my Grandfather had passed.... it something about this song that made me feel like a whole new person again... kinda hard to explain....

As i tried to figure out who i should start workin with first on this mixtape, my nigga D. Townes from Diamondback Entertainment hits me up on the Blackberry messenger. In between time he gives me the contact information to hit up Ron A. Fevers Reppin A+ Productions Thats when the idea came up! So before i hit him up, I checked out his myspace music page
(http://www.myspace.com/agoodwork) to see what kind of beat i think he would like to do a collab on..... i sent him message askin if he would mind featurin on the HHN mixtape, he was like "Fa Sho"... I pulled out this Pete Rock instrumental, nuff said! I put the verse on there, sent it to him. Within a week he sent it back with his vocals on it.... it was a wrap!! My nigga killed it... VA got fire, u didnt kno???? LOL

Whats good? Naah fa real whats good!!!!! lol I kno i havent been keep dis site up ta date, but I been reeeaaal busy workin on numerous mixtapes. Hip Hop N.E.W.S. will be the first official mixtape comin from ya boi Z.O.!

For those of ya who dont understand the concept of this mixtape already, this will be the first time i actually explain it! Hip Hop N.E.W.S. has a variety of artist featured on this project who all represent HIP HOP! Now whatever your meaning of Hip Hop is, this mixtape will definitely define most if not all those meanings...

Now the biggest question would probably be.. "Whats the N.E.W.S. stand for???" This how we bridge the gap! Rather youre from the N-orth E-ast W-est or S-outh we all rep the Hip Hop game, jus in our own way.... you listening to a dude that was raised in the Eastcoast but grew up on a variety of rap artists in and outside of my region....

and being that i currently reside in Houston, i have a bigger respect for the South than i thought i ever would R.I.P.Pimp C.
